Unfortunately I had to give birth to my daughter who was a stillborn, who died in my womb due to toxicity. I almost lost 3 babies in premature laboring due to toxicity. It took new a doctor to give me the answer I searched for for many years. Asking God “Why did He make me broken? Why are my babies fighting to survive in my womb?”
When I came into the knowledge that God did not make me broken that it was my environment and lifestyle that was destroying me and my unborn. I was devastated. Instead of beating myself up for not knowing I began to take action towards change.

Writing poetically has always been a gift and a passion of mine as long as I can remember. For many many years, I struggled with seeing myself as a poetic writer. It was hard for me to see value in my letters from the heart. In my eyes they were so different and I thought they wouldn’t be received. I felt unqualified and unequipped. I was my biggest critic. I couldn’t see pass all of my imperfections and the fear of failure. I am thankful for my family and friends who loved on me, journeyed with me and spoke to the writer within me. Don’t be afraid to be different… You were fearfully and wonderfully made when you were made in your mother’s womb, which God knitted uniquely. You were made in His glorious image. I have learned to humbly accept that I am not perfect, but the one who looks at me with love in His eyes, the one who holds my hand and walks with me in this journey called life is astonishingly perfect. Fear’s job is to stop you from being the force in the Earth your were destined to be. Find your tribe and let them, along with your family, love you into your destiny. Perfect love will also drive away all fear.. Don’t be a afraid to be you. You were born for such a time as this to stand out to be beautifully, uniquely different.
